Live a life of color with the latest bold, contemporary eyewear from NW77th. Seventeen eyeglass models in four colors each are making their way into this unique, colorful brand, featuring a mix of handcrafted surgical steel and custom-designed cellulose acetate. The release brings new eyewear to five of their product series: the Home, Socks, Street, Block Steel, and Combination collections.
The Fall collection introduces nine acetate models, each strengthened by a metal wire core throughout the temples for a lasting frame. The latest additions to the Home Collection are defined by their classic acetate silhouettes, featuring a timeless rectangle, a subtle cat eye, and a sim rounded frame with a keyhole bridge. The three new eyeglasses, Game Table, Fountain, and Buffet, each feature a beveled end piece to contrast the front of the frame, offering a more uplifted look.
The Socks collection is also receiving three new acetate models, known as Nylon Socks, Boot Socks, and Lost Socks. All three models feature feminine shapes, including an oversized cat eye and classic rectangles. Like each frame from this collection, the three new models were each designed with a contrasting temple tip, adorned by a crosshatched etching as if the frames were wearing socks.
The final three acetate models, Mod 1070, Mod 1071, and Mod 1072, belong to the Street Series collection, inspired by the brand’s origins in downtown Seattle. These three eyeglasses bring one feminine and two masculine frames to the collection, each designed with a slim, lightweight acetate and a classic saddle bridge.
Of the 17 new eyeglass models, 6 are for the Block Steel collection, handcrafted with a fully metal frame and colored with a rubberized paint for a smooth, chip-free finish. Adding a fun, interesting twist to the collection, each piece is named after an IPA beer: Space Grass, Burning Couch, Udder Mayhem, Pear Pressure, Frog Juice, and Bacon Cheddar Fries. The six eyeglasses offer a mix of men’s and women’s styles, featuring both modern and classic shapes, and are crafted with a slim surgical steel for a feather-light feel.
Finally, the remaining two eyeglasses belong to the Combination collection, combining surgical steel temples with NW77th’s exclusively designed custom acetate. The two frames, Poncho and Cargo Shorts, both feature a classic rectangular design, the former with a subtle cat eye lift along the brow.
