Marty Greenfeld, a dentist based in Manitoba at River East Dental, is pleasantly surprised after winning a $500 prize following his participation in the Oral Health Group’s 2024 ad survey.
The Signet Ad Study is conducted annually to gauge readers’ preferences regarding the advertisements featured in Oral Health magazine. To show appreciation, one participating dentist is randomly selected to receive a $500 gift card.
“I never thought I would win a prize!” said Greenfeld, who worked with City of Winnipeg Dental Services in schools providing dental care to children before establishing his current practice in North Kildonan. “I filled out the survey because I like the Journal and, of course, to have a chance to win a prize.”
Oral Health Group publishes a monthly magazine, Oral Health, recognized as the only audited dental magazine for Canadian dentists. The magazine includes clinical features from an esteemed expert editorial board composed of exceptional dentists in their fields. In addition, it offers editorials, business insights, and safety practices.
When asked where he looks for information before purchasing dental products, Greenfeld explained that he relies on sales representatives, colleagues, conventions, and advertisements to pique his interest.
Regarding what kind of information assists him in evaluating ads for dental products, he replied, “What other dentists find successful and what lecturers recommend.”
