Another “aha” moment was when Brenda and I discussed nutrition. I was excited when she told me that to achieve my goals I needed to eat! She has helped me break down my old mentality of restriction and guilt that can come when you are trying to get in shape. I’ve been able to travel, enjoy family dinners, and keep some of my favorite sweet-tooth foods in my pantry without feeling like I’m sabotaging myself.
Though it’s only been a few months since I’ve been working on my fitness goals earnestly and consistently, the changes I’ve made with Brenda make it feel very possible to achieve my goals and keep lifelong habits that will lead to a more balanced and healthy lifestyle.
