It is the first eyewear show after the summer holiday – making Paris the place to be as the previews of the new collections are revealed. Here, in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower, buyers and trendsetters from across Europe come together for an in-person experience of what the future of eyewear has in store. What better opportunity for Immagine98 – the Cadore-based company that has made design and research its core values – to launch the latest styles in its collections?

X-IDE: IMAGINATIVE EYEWEAR

X-Ide Hesse
X-Ide Hesse Hesse

This is the historic brand of Immagine98, known for its initial debut feature of double temples, a powerful expression of the creativity of Italian style, it marries design and artisanal craftsmanship. Inspiration and innovation join forces to deliver styles that are never lacking in originality like Hesse, a tribute to Herman Hesse – all the styles in the collection bear the names of authors and artists because X-Ide is surprising, imaginative, fascinating, and engaging, as only art and literature know how to be. An optical style, it has a distinctive, geometric shape. The front pairs gold-plated metal rims on the lower part, with uppers in tortoiseshell acetate, for a touch of contemporary elegance.

X-IDE NEW GENERATION, CYBERPUNK INSPIRATION AND A ‘COLOR-FULL’ SPIRIT!

X-IDE Pulse

In 2024, X-Ide is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its creation with a capsule collection, inspired by the concept of Cyber Punk, that reinterprets the historic brand’s iconic double temples. Immagine98 continues to lead the way in the eyewear industry, commemorating the past and foretelling a future of style and innovation with its X-Ide New Generation. Enter Pulse, sublime synthesis of color and form. The double temples pick up the color of the light blue and fuchsia cocktail lenses on a rimless heptagonal frame that manages to be harmonious, despite its many angles.

MIC, HYGGE STYLE INSPIRED BY NATURE!

MIC Auronzo
MIC Auronzo Auronzo

MIC pays tribute to the beauty of Nature and the Dolomite mountains, where the brand’s eyewear is created, by expressing a style that embraces the soft shades like an authentic mood of life. Nature is the true source of inspiration that determines the lines and color choices, as always, embellished with a distinctive metal detail on the hinge profile that calls to mind the majestic mountain tops. Named for a small village with 450 inhabitants, at 985 meters above sea level, among ancient houses and cobblestone streets – Cibiana is its perfect embodiment. Generously sized, the frame’s slightly elongated shape, in a combination of acetate and metal, rises to form a warm, inviting angle, along with a color scheme that blends a palette of greens, browns, and blacks to create a marbled effect with a hint of understory. And what about Auronzo, another Cadore village? It is an example of sophisticated, functional design, engineered to provide comfort and protection in mountain settings but also perfectly stylish for city wear. The frames are made of polished metal, in a classic round shape reminiscent of the aesthetic of antique mountaineering eyewear. The combination of materials and vintage-modern design makes these frames an accessory that communicates excitement and adventure. The Vodo optical style – also named for a local village between the Dolomite massifs of Pelmo and Antelao (less than a two-hour drive from Venice) – draws from the floral palettes of soft violets and browns, that intersect here for a harmonious color rendering in acetate with decorative detailing on the front.

RYE&LYE, EYEWEAR WITH TWO PERSONALITIES

Rye&Lye Athene
Rye&Lye Athene Athene

Rye&Lye is the fusion of two opposing, but connected, energies – a mix of dreams and passions, ideas and intuitions. The result is eyewear with a contemporary perspective, perfectly embodied by the ultra-new styles in the collection! Byblos is an optical frame that bears the name of the ancient Phoenician city located on a hill above the sea. In its shapes, it preserves the elegance and simplicity of that civilization. A panto, in captivating green, it has a keyhole bridge that delivers the charm of yesteryear and wearability with universal appeal.

Named Athene, an ode to the cradle of Greek civilization, this frame embodies the elegance of classic shapes and a timeless black-and-white color pairing. The design reflects the purity of the Greek culture – clean, symmetrical lines reminiscent of the architectural harmony of that period. The contrasting black and white colorway elevates the aesthetic and emphasizes its versatility and elegance. Much more than a simple accessory, it is a tribute to Greek culture, an icon of timeless elegance and an example of design that blends tradition and modernity.

 I-MAN, MINIMALISM WITH PERSONALITY

I-MAN Nicolo
I-MAN Nicolo Nicolo

I-Man is an all-male ready-to-wear eyewear collection: an easy-going spirit, and urban style. Developed, designed, and crafted listening to the needs of Italian and international markets, it is the product of a crossroads of impressions and inspirations. In exclusive preview at Silmo, it introduces Nicolò, an optical frame in green acetate: simplicity and sophistication, minimalist style, but with a touch of originality – the essence of this frame (and of the brand itself). Details? Hints of color on the hinge and on the temple tips – colorful accents that add dynamic flair to the design, without compromising the simplicity of its lines.
