On Jan. 7, Wellful Inc. (Charlotte, NC) announced its acquisition of Ancient Nutrition (Franklin, TN) from VMG Partners, Hillhouse Investment and other holders.
Wellful combines advanced e-commerce technology with scientifically formulated solution to help consumers live happier and healthier lives across its vitamin, supplement and food products, the company said.

According to the company, the acquisition of Ancient Nutrition will further strengthen Wellful’s omnichannel presence in the vitamin, mineral and supplement (VMS) categories. It will also allow the company to expand its distribution footprint into the natural retail channel.
